Eno River State Park, 6101 Cole Mill Road in Durham, offers nearly 30 miles of trails along a swift, shallow stream that’s popular with anglers, photographers and sightseers. It also is the site for some free educational programs throughout the year. Here are the next few.

Hike with a Ranger

Join a Ranger hiking the Laurel Bluff 1.5 miles to the Eno Quarry and 1.5 miles back to the Pleasant Green Access. We hope to see wildflowers along the trail and many other signs of spring.

How was the Eno River State Park created? Join a Park Ranger for a hike along the Pump Station Trail to learn about Margaret Nygard and the Eno River Association, the group of citizens who preserved the land that is now the Eno River State Park.
