Take to the sky at Flight Day at Dorothea Dix Park on Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This free event, which is created in partnership with Y Guides YMCA of the Triangle, takes place on the Big Field, 101 Blair Drive, Raleigh.
Bring kites, homemade flying machines, and model rockets! Kite vendors will be on site too.

You are also welcome to bring your own food and drinks. (No alcohol permitted, though.)
RSVP is not required, but when you register it helps the organizer with planning and also gives them a way to let you know if there are any changes due to inclement weather. Register here.
Port-a-johns are the only restroom facility available at the event area, but there are indoor restrooms in the Chapel. There are accessible port-a-johns at the Big Field.
Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome.
