In general, on the first Friday of the month, Raleigh Astronomy Club hosts a sky viewing session at Triangle Land Conservancy nature preserves.
Raleigh Astronomy Club will have their telescopes and can guide you as you explore the night sky. What you’ll see at each event will change according to the earth’s position that night.
However, in some months the event happens on Saturday or a different Friday.

Raleigh Astronomy Club will be hosting a monthly night sky viewing session at one of Triangle Land Conservancy’s private sites that will only be open for this event. The old site for Three Bears Acres will be the perfect location for star viewing fun so bring a blanket or chair.
Because this is a private preserve, please leave furry friends at home. Please bring a picnic blanket or chair to stargaze in, bugspray, a red flashlight, warm layers, and snacks and a water bottle.
Double-Check Before You Head Out!
We make every effort to make sure that everything on Triangle on the Cheap is 100% accurate.
However, sometimes things change without notice, and it’s also possible that we can make a mistake.
Please verify all deals and events with the venue or organizer before you go.
