LAFF (Lively and Fun Families in the Triangle) is hosting a family zombie walk and candy scavenger hunt on Saturday, October 24th, 2020, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Downtown Cary Park, 319 South Academy Street, Cary.
All zombies and “victims” must be safely masked, so the theme is zombie doctors, nurses and patients!
In addition, the hoard is separating into its safe family groups, with social distancing between the groups.
Here’s the description from the Eventbrite page.
Braaaains…. Zombies need to eat too! So RSVP to feed them candy at a open-aired candy scavenger hunt — AFTER terrorizing (or at least humoring) the unsuspecting victims in Downtown Cary.
We’ll gather– socially distant — in our properly MASKED Doctor, Nurse and Patient costumes… (Show up early if you need extra time to prep need costume ideas.)
We’ll stumble down the side walked-lined streets of downtown Cary, spaced 6′ between zombie packs (approx one-mile). We’ll finish back where we started for our Zombie Halloween Candy Scavenger Hunt.
The hunt is designed to be done in family groups — that’s why the candy will be spread out around the park instead of handed out or in one big bowl. Plus it’s more fun! 🙂
Located next to the park, for those adult Zombies who want to chase down their brains with a beverage — or need more food for themselves/kids — will be Cotton House Brewery (with large area outdoor seating) and a TBA Food Truck.
It is also a Zombie Killer-free Zone, for those who wish to be safely socialize at bit more after the walk.
