Shredding your sensitive documents is an important step to protect yourself from identify theft and fraud. It’s especially important to shred document that you have your social security number, credit card info or bank account information on them.
Office Max and Office Depot are offering 5 pounds of paper shredding for free. Just pay tax. You’ll need a coupon, which you can find by going to this page and then scrolling all the way down.
Their free shredding promotion goes on through May 23, 2026.
Pro tip: Bookmark that page, because they regularly offer discounts on shredding and this is where they put the coupon.
