Celebrate Downtown Cary Park’s 1st Birthday on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

This free event will be going on all day. Please bring your own chairs and blankets so that you can comfortably enjoy the performances. This party is suitable for all ages.

The event features children’s activities, yoga, music, free cupcakes and a drone show. (And more!)

Please note that Academy Street will be closed from Dry Ave. to Park St. from 12:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on November 16, 2024.

9 to 10 a.m.: Yoga (Registration Required) at Academy Pavilion
9 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Winter Cary Farmers Market at Park Street
12 to 4 p.m.: Art Cart at The Nest
12:30 to 5 p.m.: Sign the Giant Birthday Card at Frantz Square Lawn
1 to 2 p.m.: Picture Perfect Princess Activities with Belle, Tinker Bell, Moana, and Spiderman at Park Street Arena
2:15 to 2:45 p.m.: Pictures with Belle, Tinker Bell, Moana, and Spiderman at Park Street Arena
2 to 5 p.m.: Poetry Fox at Frantz Square
2 to 6 p.m.: Face Painting, Fairy Hair, Balloon Artist at Frantz Square Lawn and Park Street Arena
3 to 6 p.m.: Imagination Blocks Park Street Arena
2 to 8 p.m.: Roaming Performers Imagine Circus (Including hoop jam, magicians, stilt walkers, roving LED juggler, LED hoop artist) throughout the Park
3 to 8 p.m.: 360 Photo Booth at Frantz Square
3 to 8 p.m.: DCP Merchandise for Sale (20% Off Everything!) at Frantz Square
3 to 9 p.m.: Food Trucks at Great Lawn Pavilion
3 to 8 p.m.: Umbrella Dry Bar at Frantz Square
3:30 to 4:45 p.m.: Musical Performance at Great Lawn Pavilion
5 to 6 p.m.: Mayor Harold Weinbrecht and Cary Town Council Remarks, Singing of “Happy Birthday”, Cutting of Cake, and the First Drone Light Show at Great Lawn Pavilion
Following Drone Show: Free Birthday Cupcakes (While Supplies Last) at Academy Pavilion
Following Drone Show: Musical Perfomance on Great Lawn
6 to 8 p.m.: DCP Trivia at The Bark Bar
7:15 p.m.: Second Drone Show (Repeat of the first)
