Downtown Beats & Eats is a free outdoor concert series at Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park, 301 S. Goldsboro Street, Wilson, North Carolina, on four evenings in September and October, 2022, from 4 to 8 p.m. Each event features two bands.
Besides the music, the events feature local and regional food trucks, and North Carolina craft beer and wine.
Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park is a public park in downtown Wilson that features 30 huge wind-driven whirligigs made by folk artist Vollis Simpson out of found materials.
