Diwali is India’s most important festival of the year. It’s celebrated in October or November. The “Festival of Lights” celebrates the triumph of light over darkness. Some components of Diwali celebrations are food, fireworks, colored sand, special candles and lamps, music, dancing, and fireworks.
There are several Diwali celebrations in the Triangle — including Raleigh, Cary and Morrisville. One has already taken place, but at the time of this update (October 26, 2023) there are two still to enjoy!
