Dig the City: Food and Flower Festival is an epicurean and botanical adventure at Fred Fletcher Park, 820 Clay Street, Raleigh, NC. This free event takes place Saturday, May 28th, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Explore dessert, artisan and savory food vendors, and experience samples and demos.
Shop for plants from local nurseries and do shopping from local farms. You’ll get the chance to learn about City of Raleigh’s Parks and Greenhouses and what they do to create natural space throughout the city.
Kids can make free food and flower crafts in a garden tea party setting, along with character meet and greets and photo opportunities.
There will also be a garden-wide scavenger hunt with a prize, and a Storywalk along the park’s path.

Historic Hands-On History workshops will be available throughout the day for $2 per participant. Pre-register to make sure you get a spot. There will also be a limited number of seats available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- 10:30 a.m.: Butter making workshop
- 12 p.m.: Natural Dyes workshop
- 1:30 p.m.: Butter making workshop
