Regional Creek Week takes place March 15 to 22, 2025, and features a variety of events hosted by local governments, with the aim of connecting communities to their local waterways through education, recreation and conservation efforts.

Orange County Creek Week Kick-Off

Kick off 2025 Creek Week with an event at the new Drakeford Complex in Carrboro. Join us for hands-on activities, story time in the library, and a green infrastructure tour of the Drakeford Complex. Event includes tables from local municipalities, government agencies, and nonprofits.

Stream Cleanup at Worthdale Park

BioThon Bingo is a virtual event focused on stream ecology. It’s presented by Clean Water Education Partnership.
