Clyde Cooper’s BBQ, at 327 S Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC, has been serving Carolina-style barbecue in Downtown Raleigh since 1938. It will be moving to a new location in Raleigh soon.
As a farewell celebration, Clyde Cooper’s Barbeque is is holding an New Year’s Day Buffet on January 1, 2026, from 12 to 4 p.m.
If you buy your ticket the day of the event it’s $28.95 for adults and $14.95 for children 12 and under. You can also buy your tickets ahead of time here. When you do this, the cost is $30.59 for adults and $18.51, and that includes the Eventbrite fee and sales tax.
Also you can donate a plate. Each plate donation, for $20, will go directly to those in need. You can buy the plate donation in store, at the Eventbrite link above, or by emailing Cooper’s directly at clydecoopersbbq.1938@gmail.com.
The buffet includes:
- Chopped pork BBQ
- Fried and BBQ chicken
- Smoked ham
- Collard greens
- Black eyed peas
- Candied yams
- More sides and fixings!
- Banana pudding
- Sweet potato pie
- Pecan pie
- Assorted cakes
- Non-alcoholic drinks
- Vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options
