Wake Forest Cares Holiday Kick-Off

Free and open to the public, the Holiday Kick-Off will offer a slew of activities the entire family can enjoy, including The Carolina Hurricanes Storm Tour and Slapshot Booth, Snow Axe Throwing, Zap-A-Penguin, Curling, roaming street performers, community performances, children’s craft activities, and more!
You will also have the chance to learn more about several Wake Forest Cares initiatives and how they are making a positive difference in our community.
Calls From Santa

The Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department is offering “Calls from Santa” to kids ages 3-9 on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 6-8 p.m.
Registration forms will be available Monday, Nov. 25, online and at the Joyner Park Community Center, 701 Harris Road, and Wake Forest Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St.
Completed forms must be submitted online or received at the Joyner Park Community Center or Town Hall by 5 p.m., Monday, Dec. 2. Telephone registrations will not be accepted.
There is no cost to participate, but all calls must be local.
Lighting of Wake Forest
Friday, December 6, 2024
5 to 8 p.m.
Centennial Plaza, Wake Forest Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St.
Free
The ceremony will feature the lighting of the Christmas tree and Santa’s arrival in a Wake Forest fire truck.

This is a day to explore the unique array of local shopps and restaurants in Downtown Wake Forest. Check back soon for details.

Guests wishing to have a picture taken with Santa at either event must sign up in advance for a reservation.
To allow as many children as possible to visit with Santa, please only select one slot per family. Please do not attempt to bring friends and/or additional relatives under your reservation. Each family needs their own reservation. Duplicate reservations will be deleted. (NOTE: Quantity of 1 = 1 family)
