Skaters from the Carolina Roller Derby home teams, the Dogwood Destroyers and the Box Turtle Bruisers, will compete in the Edgar Allan Poedown on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The match takes place at Wheels Durham, 715 N Hoover Road, Durham, North Carolina.
Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Kids get in for $5.
Some rink seating is provided, but guests can bring their own chairs.
Join us “deep into that darkness peering” as Carolina Roller Derby gets poetic justice on the flat track. CRD skaters are channeling the spirit of Edgar Allan Poe — and they’re ready to leave The Pit and take The Pendulum straight to the competition.
