The next edition Bull City Food Swap takes place in nearby Hillsborough! It will be at Blackwood Farm Park, 4215 NC 86, Hillsborough, North Carolina, on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Blackwood Farm Park is a county owned 152-acre park with tons of hiking trails, an old mill, and a pond. Bug spray, water, sunscreen, and picnic blankets are encouraged.
Bring your home grown, homemade, home canned food to trade with other foodies, makers and growers.
No money is exchanged. It’s all on the barter system. You’ll need to sign a waiver that you understand that everything was made in a home kitchen by regular people, and you accept any risk that implies.
What can you bring, or bring home? Eggs, herbs, mushrooms, nuts, produce, pickles, jelly and jam, hot sauces, vanilla extract, pesto, bread….you get the idea!
