Black Word Magic Author, Illustrator, and Publisher Fair is an event dedicated to providing talented African American authors, illustrators and publishers an opportunity to showcase their work, connect with potential readers, build collaborations, learn more about the publishing industry, share their unique perspectives, and gain exposure for their creations.
It takes place Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 2 to 6 p.m., at Body of Christ Church Dream Center, 5616 Fox Road, Raleigh, NC.
It’s free to attend, but there is a nominal vendor fee. If you’d like to be a vendor, please email collective03@gmail.com.
From fiction to non-fiction, poetry to children’s books, self-help to science fiction and everything in between, attendees will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of genres and discover captivating narratives that reflect the African American experience.
