Fall is looking great around the Triangle, whether you’re looking for something spooky or totally kid-friendly! Check out our HUGE list of fall festivals, as well as our list of pumpkin patches, haunted trails and corn mazes! We have also put together a big list of Halloween events and Trick or Treat events!
Stop by the coffee shop on Saturday, October 29th, 2022, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for this free event. The focus will be on foods that have a historic connection with Halloween:
Pine State Cinnamon Kettle Corn
CANDY CORN — although this popular candy was originally made since the 1880s in Philadelphia, it didn’t grow in popularity until the 1950s when “Trick or Treating” became widespread. Fun Fact: Candy Corn used to be called Chicken Feed!
Pipcorn Cheddar Crunchies
BLACK & ORANGE — these colors have long been associated with Halloween, but date all the way back to the Celtic festival, Samhain. Black represents death and orange represents the autumn harvest.
Seven Sundays ‘Classic Bircher’ Apple Cinnamon Muesli
BOBBING for APPLES — dates back to an old Roman courting ritual during Pomona, honoring the goddess of agriculture & abundance
