The Artisan Market at 305, located at 305 E Chapel Hill Street, Durham, is a collective of more than 50 local artists who work in a wide range of media, including jewelry, pottery, fiber art, glass, photography, paintings and much more.
It’s a great place to shop for unique local gifts, and many of the artists also offer custom work.
The Artisan Market at 305 is celebrating its 4th anniversary from May 20th to 23rd, 2021, with special events every day during store hours, including artist demos, daily prizes, raffles, and classes. The Durham Sculpture Studio in the back will also be open during the anniversary week.

- Thursday: 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday: 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Sunday: 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Thursday, May 20th, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Make and Take Your Own Unique Macrame Plant Hanger. Basic Instructions and Materials Included. Limited to the first 5 people that arrive or call that day to attend.
Friday, May 21st, 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Hands on Make and Take. Begin creating Your Own Dream Weave Wall Art and take it home to finish. Limited to 5 per group. Children 5 and over and adults.
Friday, May 21st, and Saturday, May 22nd, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Curious about how fused glass is created? Watch a free demo by store owner and fused glass artist, Karen Casey.
Saturday, May 22nd, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.: Andrew Lonon, director of the Durham Sculpture Studio, will talk about his work.
Saturday, May 22nd, 3:30 p.m.: Make and Take Your Own Unique Macrame Plant Hanger. Basic Instructions and Materials Included. Limited to the first 5 people that arrive or call that day to attend.
Sunday, May 23rd, 1 p.m.: Joyce and Mickey Barbour will demonstrate how they twist up trees! Twisted Roots creates handmade tree ornaments with a variety of semi-precious stones, vintage beads, glass and charms.
