50 area youth age 6-15 are invited to participate in the Beta Lambda Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.’s annual Youth Symposium from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Raleigh Girls Club of Wake County, 701 N Raleigh Blvd, Raleigh, North Carolina. Admission is free.
The theme for this year’s symposium is Money, Money, Money! Registration is required and space is limited.
The Youth Symposium is an annual one-day initiative of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. that’s held on the second Saturday in March by Alumnae chapters across the country and supported by their undergraduate chapters and affiliates. The Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Youth Symposium is designed to address issues and provide opportunities related to STEAM, mental and physical health/wellness, social action and justice, education and career planning, financial literacy, and culture.
Youth participating in BLS’s Youth Symposium will participate in groups based on their ages. Sessions for attendees ages 6 to 15 include robotics, entrepreneurship and financial literacy. The symposium will conclude with a mini entrepreneurship fair from 12 to 1 p.m.
