Durham Parks & Recreation is leading a Winter Solstice Hike at West Point on the Eno on Saturday, December 21, 2025, from 2 to 3 p.m.
The group of hikers will meet at the Environmental Education Pavilion of West Point on the Eno, at 253 N Roxboro Street, Durham, North Carolina.
It costs $1.50 for City of Durham residents, and $6.50 for non-residents. Registration is required.
Celebrate the shortest day of year by getting outdoors with DPR! We will hike at West Point on the Eno and enjoy fresh forest air and scenic views of the Eno River. Wear weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.
Youth under 16 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Preregistration is required for all participants. Please note that this program is weather dependent.
