The biggest film festivals in the world are not able to take place in person this year.
Instead, they are uniting for a 10-day streaming event called We Are One, which will take place on YouTube. The films will be FREE to watch, but viewers can donate to a solidarity response fund.
This is a first–a global film festival that will truly reach the world.
The films will be shown from May 29th to June 7th, 2020.
We don’t know the specific film schedule yet, but we will update as we learn more.
You’ll be able to see films, documentaries, music, comedy and conversation. It’s unlikely that you’ll see major new movies that typically launch at these film festivals.
