Wake Tech Performing Arts Club is presenting Metal Hamlet.
“Metal Hamlet” is a student-directed and adapted take on Shakespeare’s Hamlet with a grungy metal exterior. Based loosely on several scripts and improvisation, actors devise lines and create their own version of the play, while remaining mostly true to the original plot.
This abridged, cynical take on one of Shakespeare’s best known tragedies, set to a metal musical score, will engage, enlighten and entertain a new era of audience members.

Metal Hamlet takes place Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 7 to 9 p.m., on the 2nd floor of Building L at Wake Technical Community College Southern Wake Campus, 9101 Fayetteville Road, Raleigh, North Carolina.
