University Presbyterian Church, at 209 E Franklin Street, Chapel Hill, NC, is hosting a a free concert by Liam Drake, concert pianist, on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 4 p.m., in the sanctuary.
Young artist Liam Drake makes his solo debut in a recital featuring the world premier of a commissioned piece by Rhyuhn Green, “The Realm of Possibility,” along with other works by Bach, Beethoven, Martin and Mozart. A rising star, Drake has won awards from the North Carolina Chamber Music Institute, NC Federation of Music Clubs, and Raleigh Music Club and in 2023 was a semifinalist with his chamber ensemble, Emerald Trio, at the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition.
Free and open to the public.
