Durham County Main Library, at 300 N Roxboro Street, Durham, NC, is hosting a Juneteenth Celebration on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
All the events are free and open to the public, with no registration required. The events are sponsored by the Durham Library Foundation.
The celebration features take & make instruments, music of the Black Diaspora, an author presentation and more.
In addition, Explore Durham’s Black History will feature photos of the history of Durham with the NC Collection and will be available from June 15 to 17, 2023, during all opening hours.
