Both UNC Chapel Hill and Duke University are hosting watch parties for the historic Final Four matchup between UNC and Duke, but only the one at UNC is open to the public.
The capacity of the Dean Smith Center at UNC is 21,750, and the capacity of Cameron Indoor Stadium is 9,314.

Watch Party at Smith Center
The Dean E. Smith Center, at 300 Skipper Bowles Drive, Chapel Hill, is hosting a watch party for both NCAA men’s basketball semifinal games on Saturday night. The action will be on a large projection screen and the arena video boards.
Villanova plays Kansas at 6:09 p.m., and about 40 minutes after that game ends, UNC takes on Duke.
If you’re a current student, or a faculty or staff member, at UNC, and you have a UNC One Card, you can enter at Entry A at 5:30 p.m. The general public can enter at Entry A at 5:45 p.m.
Admission is free, but parking is $5 and available at the Manning, Bowles and Craige parking lot starting at 4:30 p.m. Credit card payment only. ADA parking is available in the Williamson lot. It’s also $5 and cashless.
Concessions and merchandise will be available.
The Carolina Basketball Museum, located in the Ernie Williamson Athletic Center, will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Watch Party at Cameron Indoor Stadium
Cameron Indoor Stadium is holding a watch party for the UNC/Duke game on Saturday, April 2nd. Estimated start time is 8:49 p.m. However, the watch party is only for active students with a Duke ID. The event will be closed to the public, and event to Duke staff, unless they are working in Cameron.
Watch Parties throughout the Triangle
There are many watch UNC/Duke Final Four watch parties throughout the Triangle. And many of them require reservations, and some of those reservations are full. SOME of those venues will take a limited number of walk-ins.
It should go without saying that this is not a comprehensive list. You can expect the game to be on the TV in most places, and most certainly at sports bars.
