Leading up to the UNC vs. Duke men’s basketball game on Saturday, February 6th, 2021, the student newspapers of the two schools are competing in an annual challenge of their own.
The Daily Tar Heel and the Chronicle are competing to see which newspaper can raise the most money leading up to the game. Student journalism is more important than ever, providing an independent voice to the campuses and beyond. The student newspapers also are training ground for our next generation of professional journalists.
