Triangle’s Train: New Hope Valley Railway, 3900 Bonsal Road, New Hill, North Carolina, is offering free train rides to military service members on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 17, 2025.
The hour-long ride travels on historic railroad track from Bonsal to New Hill and back.
Included in the invitation are:
- Active duty
- Reservists
- National Guard
- Veterans
An Honor Guard will be presenting the colors at 10 a.m., so arrive early to take part in the ceremony.
Order your free ticket here (just choose the “Military” option) and bring your military ID with you. Rides are at 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
