The Fruit, 305 S Dillard Street, Durham, is hosting the album release party for Larry & Joe’s Nuevo South Train.
The event takes place Friday, March 24th, 2023, from 7 to 9 p.m. Admission is on a donation basis, with a $25 suggested donation. Nobody will be turned away due to lack of funds, so if you can donate more, please do.
Larry & Joe first found each other at The Fruit in late 2021. In record time, they’ve produced their debut album, Nuevo South Train, produced by guitar icon Charlie Hunter.
Of course they’re premiering their album in The Fruit’s Theatre. Charlie Hunter, DaShawn Hickman, and Brevan Hampden all make appearances on the album and join the bill for the evening. It’s a star-studded lineup that you won’t want to miss.
If you haven’t been to a Larry & Joe show, get ready for the time of your life! Their bilingual program (eng/esp) features virtuosic folk fusion music, storytelling, humor, dancing, and singalongs. It’s a family-friendly event… and all ages! Música para todos!
