Counter Culture Coffee is a coffee roaster committed to sustainably sourced coffee. The company’s headquarters in Durham also serves as a training facility for regional staff, and they offer classes in brewing latte art, palate development and more, for coffee professionals and hobbyists. These weekly and monthly events take place at Counter Culture Coffee Headquarters and Training Center, 812 Mallard Avenue, Durham, North Carolina.
Tasting at Ten
Each Friday at 10 a.m., the public is welcome to a free coffee education and tasting session.
Each week Counter Culture Coffee will choose a coffee or coffees to feature and a complementary brewing method to spotlight. They’ll guide participants through the tasting, and share details about the coffee’s journey, from the seed to the cup.
Catalog Cupping — Taste Counter Culture’s Menu for Free
On the first Monday of the month, from 1 to 2 p.m., Counter Culture Coffee hosts Catalog Cupping. Come taste your way through the whole Counter Culture Coffee menu.
These events are scheduled on the first Monday of the month through the rest of 2026. Reserve your spot.
