Haw River Watershed and Jordan Lake
There are multiple places to swim throughout the Haw River Watershed and Jordan Lake. Haw River Assembly is monitoring the E. coli levels at each of each of these swim access points. The E. coli level signals the levels of pathogens in these waters.
Each Friday in the summer, they update the results on their website, as well as their social media accounts and newsletter. they also have an app that you can download.
They sample and report on the water. Read more about this process, and see the weekly results at hawriver.org/swim-guide/
