State Farmers Market, 1201 Agriculture Street in Raleigh, includes 30,000 square feet for North Carolina farmers to sell fresh produce.
It’s open every day:
- Monday through Saturday: 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Sundays: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In addition, there are three restaurants, the Market Grill, Seafood Restaurant and State Farmers Market Restaurant.

Watermelon Day
The State Farmers Market is hosting Watermelon Day on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The festivities include:
- Free watermelon slices
- Live music
- Face painting
- Meeting the N.C. Watermelon Queen
- Seeing the largest watermelon weigh-in at noon
