Siler City and Siler City Parks and Recreation are presenting the 4th Annual Spring Chicken Festival on Saturday, May 7th, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., in Downtown Siler City.

Admission is free.
The Spring Chicken Festival will take place on three blocks of Chatham Street, between Beaver Street and Third Street. See the festival map, below.
The festival features live music, a “chicken pickin'” contest (the winner is the one who shreds the most meat from a whole roasted bird), rides, vendors and more.
Main Stage Lineup
- 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: The Embers featuring Craig Woolard
- 1:30 to 3 p.m.: Chicken Pickin’ Contest
- 3 to 5:30 p.m.: Rivermist Band
The festival will include a ferris wheel, Jitterbug Swing Ride, bounce house, joust arena and more. Attractions will be located along East Second Street and are free to enjoy.
The Pirates of the Promised Treasure will be anchoring their interactive pirate ship. Cost to board the ship is $3 a person.
