
The Town of Apex is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a special event September 16, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Hunter Street Park Shelter, 1250 Ambergate Station, Apex, North Carolina.
Spider Stories — History de Aranas features is a free event.
Activities:
- Guided bilingual story walk around the paved path of Hunter Street Park featuring the illustrated works of La Web
- Spider and Insect Education Tables from NC State and the NC Museum of Life and Science
- Peruvian Sand Craft
- Refreshments
- Piñata hoist with help from the Apex Fire Department ladder truck!
Schedule:
- 5:30 PM – Event Start
- 5:50 PM – Guided Story Walk
- 6:20 PM – Pinata
- 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM – Assorted Activities
