The Southern Farm Show is a large annual agricultural exposition that takes place at the NC State Fairgrounds, 4285 Trinity Road, Raleigh, North Carolina.
The show takes place February 5 to 7, 2025, and is free to attend.
- Wednesday and Thursday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Friday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Special Features
The show features some events that will be entertaining to the general public, including:
Lumberjack Show by the South Atlantic Woodsmen’s Association. Watch professionals throw double-bitted axes at targets, tear through 11-inch logs with razor-sharp six pound axes, and create springboards in the side of trees as they climb their way to the top.
FFA Tractor and Truck Driving Competitions. Students from across the state compete to see who is the best driver, and who will take bragging rights back to their school.
Farm Credit Show: Enjoy old-time runes from The Brothers N Bluegrass. It will be held each day of the show at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2:30 p.m., at the front of the Jim Graham Building.
Hands-on Excavation. Company Wrench allows show guests to operate Kobelco excavators. There will be a skills challenge with prizes for the best operators.
Duke Energy Live Line Safety Demonstration. Duke Energy will be conducting live line demonstrations. They’ll demonstrate what happens when something touches a live power line. Wednesday and Thursday at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m., and on Friday at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.
