Downtown Raleigh Alliance is presenting the First Friday Slow Roll Bike Parade on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Part bike ride, part parade, all fun!
The bike parade starts at Oak City Cycling Project, 707 N Person Street, Raleigh, NC, to Downtown Raleigh – this ride will bring you to the heart of downtown for all the First Friday festivities.
This family friendly “slow roll” is appropriate for all ages and abilities but will occur in street, so if your little one is not comfortable riding at a 10-12 MPH pace, a burley, cargo bike or bike seat is a better fit.
Get ready for some dino-themed fun once we get to Downtown, with selfie stations set up for a brief ride interlude where rollers can win a $100 gift card to a Downtown Raleigh retailer of their choice.
Dress up or dress down – this is a casual cruiser ride and a fun celebration kick-off event for our month of fun.
