Downtown Cary Park, 327 S Academy Street, Cary, North Carolina, regularly presents School BreakOUT! events for kids during scheduled days off of school. These events are packed with kid-friendly crafts and activities.
School BreakOUT! is free and no registration is required. These are not drop-off events. Parents or guardians must stay with their children the whole time.

Mark your calendar for March 3, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for School BreakOUT!
Explore creative fun at the Art Cart, play your way through the Park with various lawn games, and enjoy a relaxing day of open-ended activities. It’s all about low-key fun, fresh air, and making memories. Just play at your own pace!
- 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Imagination Blocks and Lawn Games in Park St Arena
- 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Art Cart in the Nest Pavilion
- 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Free Play Lawn Games on the Great Lawn
- 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Family Board Games, Kid’s Puzzles, STEM and Sensory Activities in Academy Pavilion
- 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.: Pop-Up Bubble Play on the Great Lawn
School BreakOUT! March 31
SpringBreakOUT! takes place March 31, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
