Downtown Cary Park, 327 S Academy Street, Cary, North Carolina, regularly presents School BreakOUT! events for kids during scheduled days off of school. These events are packed with kid-friendly crafts and activities.
School BreakOUT! is free and no registration is required. These are not drop-off events. Parents or guardians must stay with their children the whole time.
The next School BreakOUT! takes place on Presidents’ Day, Monday, February 16, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
With artist-led booths and family-friendly craft stations, kids will explore all kinds of art. Each station offers a hands-on project, and kids will proudly carry their finished works home, one handmade masterpiece at a time.
Food will be available for purchase from on-site food trucks.
