The City of Sanford is celebrating its Sesquicentennial this year! Sanford’s 150th Birthday Bash takes place on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Sanford Lions Club Fairgrounds, 507 N 7th Street, Sanford, North Carolina.

This event is free to attend and includes live music, a magic show, rides, a petting zoo, train rides, inflatables, and much more. Cake and ice cream will be free, while supplies last, and additional food and refreshments will be available for purchase.

Sanford’s 150th Birthday Bash Schedule

10 a.m.: Gates Open
10:30 a.m.: Opening Ceremony
11 a.m.: Festivities kick off: Live music, train ride, hay ride, petting zoo, party games, inflatables, touch a truck, food trucks, and a 150th merch tent!
11:15 a.m.: Temple Teen Ensemble
11:45 a.m.: Magic show
12:15 p.m.: Tuesday Night Music Club
1:15 p.m.: Live Music
2 p.m.: Magic show
2:45 p.m.: Live DJ
3 p.m.: Train rides end
4 p.m.: Event ends
