From April 25 to 27, 2025, a different kind of baseball will be played at the Historic Durham Athletic Park, 500 W Corporation Street, Durham, NC.
Sandlot Revival is a weekend of games between “sandlot” teams from across the country. The teams are made of folks who just like getting together and playing baseball. Winning is not everything. It’s more of a fun, social time. Sort of the way neighborhood baseball used to be when we were kids.
It’s free to attend! Lots of delicious concessions will be available.
Follow Carolina Sandlot Collective on Facebook for updates.
The event is more like a block party than a typical sporting event, although it will be fun to watch, as each locale and team plays the game a bit differently. There will be a lot of diversity in age, gender, and skill level on some of the teams.
The event is hosted by Carolina Sandlot Collective. It’s a benefit for Long Ball Program, a baseball league that supports teens in Durham.
