Kidzu is offering girls in 6th to 8th grade a FREE 8-week long after-school series about renewable energy.
This program will take place on Wednesdays from January 19th to March 9th, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The program is provided in partnership with UNC Girls Engineering Change, and is funded by Duke Energy Foundation.

Students will learn
- what renewable energy is
- the technology behind it
- how renewable energy can impact our society and environment
- future educational and career paths
The program will culminate in a final project where students will make city plans and build city models.
Kidzu is at 201 S. Estes Drive, Chapel Hill. Transportation is the responsibility of the participant. Participants will be required to follow Kidzu’s mask policy.
