The Raleigh Uke Jam is a music gathering open to all, both beginning and experienced ukulele players.
The group meets on the first and third Thursday of every month, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Estill House at the Church of the Nativity, 8849 Ray Road, in North Raleigh.
They have compiled songbooks of both classic and popular ukulele songs, but feel free to bring along copies of songs that you’d like to play with the group. Please bring at least 12 copies, and be prepared to lead the songs.
Other than songs you’d like to play, you just need to bring your ukulele, and a music stand if you have one.
