
Raleigh City Farm is a nonprofit urban farm founded in 2011 on a formerly vacant one-acre lot in Downtown Raleigh, at 800 N. Blount Street. Their mission is to grow the next generation of farmers by connecting the community to sustainable agriculture.

“Pay What You Can” Farm Stand
Every Wednesday, April to October, 2025, Raleigh City Farm operates a farm stand from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Come on by to purchase produce that’s grown right there on the urban farm. The items are “pay what you can.”
How “Pay What You Can” works:
- Pay the suggested amount
- Pay less than the suggested price for up to $10 of fresh produce
- Pay it forward! (Pay more than the suggested price, as a donation.)
The harvest varies according to the season, but includes items like:
- Basil
- Cabbage
- Collards
- Eggplant
- Herbs
- Mustard Greens
- Okra
- Peppers
- Squash
- Tomatoes
- Bouquets
- More!

Wine + Weeds
Wine+Weeds is a weekly gathering of Farm Friends who help steward the 1.2-acre site. Join up from 6 to 7 p.m. every Wednesday (weather permitting) to take care of the site, learn about plants and regenerative agriculture, make new friends, and enjoy a splash of wine or alcohol free beverage donated by Wine Authorities.
Please be sure to sign up ahead of time to reserve your spot! This event takes place from April to October, 2025.
