The City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department, along with Wake County Government, is hosting a Back to School March and Community Resource Fair on Saturday, August 13th, 2022.

The event’s mission is to celebrate our youth and encourage education, while sharing resources about education, jobs and empowerment.
The event starts at Moore Square Park, 201 S Blount Street, Raleigh, at 10 a.m. Gather there and then the march will proceed to John Chavis Memorial Park, 505 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Raleigh.
At Chavis Park, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a Community Resource Fair, with youth activities and dozens of organizations that will share information about a wide range of free services for adults and youth.
