Apex Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources has created a Rainbow Bridge at Beaver Creek Greenway. This is a dedicated place to honor and remember our beloved pets who have passed away.
You’re welcome to bring your pet’s collar and attach it to the bridge’s rails as a tribute.
The Rainbow Bridge is in reference to a famous story and poem about deceased pets reuniting with their owners in heaven.
In honor of your pet, please consider making a donation to the Apex Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Play It Forward scholarship campaign. Help ensure that all members of the community can enjoy recreational opportunities. Learn more at apexnc.org/playitforward.
The Rainbow Bridge is located on the greenway just beyond the Beaver Creek Target near the Beckett Crossing neighborhood.
Your best bet is to park in the Target or Kohl’s parking lot, 1201 Beaver Creek Commons Drive, Apex, NC, and walk about a half mile to the bridge. Please see the map below.
