Winner Announced for 7 Tickets to Pullen Park’s Sold Out Holiday Express

The hugely popular attraction, Holiday Express, transforms Pullen Park into a holiday wonderland from November 29 to December 19, 2023. Guests go on a train ride, enjoy unlimited rides on the carousel, play at the Arctic Avenue, take photos in the Rotary Snow Globe and much more.

The only problem? Tickets sold out almost immediately when they went on sale in October. If you weren’t one of the lucky few who snagged tickets you’re out of luck. Online resale of tickets is prohibited by the Secretary of State of the State of North Carolina. If you see people selling them anyway, be very careful, because there are a lot of scammers.

But we’re to help! As a sponsor of Holiday Express, Triangle on the Cheap has 7 tickets, and we are giving them all away to one lucky reader. Please note that children 12 months and younger do not require a ticket.

Enter To Win Holiday Express Tickets

In order to win the 7 tickets, you must be a subscriber of the Triangle on the Cheap newsletter. We send out one email every morning with the information on all the free and cheap things to do in the Triangle (and occasionally giveaways like this.) If you’re not subscribing yet, you can subscribe now.

To enter the contest, just scroll down and leave a comment. Make sure to leave the email address that you use to subscribe to the newsletter, because that’s how we will verify that you’ve subscribed. And make sure to be checking that email for a message from Triangle on the Cheap (check your spam folder too) because that’s how we’ll notify the winner!

Enter your email address in the “Email” field, not the body of the comment. I’ve been deleting them from the body of the comments, so that they’re viewable by the public! (When you leave it in the email field, they’re not publicly viewable.)

We will randomly select a winner on Monday, November 27, 2023!

    My sons and I have been through so much. Losing our home, barely escaping the fire in the middle of night, jumping from a second floor window, losing our only surviving beloved dog being hit by a car 2 months after. Being homeless, moving across the country to give them better opportunities. Starting over. Both of my sons are recovered addicts. Now 20 and 23, and working hard to grow and build their dreams with such hardship in their past and their present. My oldest takes care of his 21 year old fiancé, 24/7 care, so she doesn’t die of stroke. Confined to a wheelchair after a terrible vaccine injury. He cannot even work, so they live off of her disability, and the very little financial help I can offer, while I struggle through my own health issues. My youngest, severe PTSD. He and his girlfriend struggle to gain any ground working in an abusive work environment, and doing what they can trying to figure life out. Both sons with their own health struggles, trauma, and never having a healthy father figure, they are the light of every room they enter. They give the shirts off their backs, literally to help others. They saved my life so many times. It would be a true gife to be able to take my amazing, loving sons and lovely ladies to a happy, fun holiday event such as this.
