Winners announced for 4 tickets to Pullen Park’s Sold Out Holiday Express

The hugely popular attraction, Holiday Express, transforms Pullen Park into a holiday wonderland from December 2 to December 18, 2025. Guests go on a train ride, enjoy unlimited rides on the carousel, play at the Arctic Avenue, go on the Enchanted Elevator, enjoy complimentary s’mores, visit Santa’s Toy Shop, and so much more.

The only problem? Tickets sold out almost immediately when they went on sale in October. If you weren’t one of the lucky few who snagged tickets you’re out of luck. If you see people selling them, be very careful, because there are a lot of scammers.

But we’re to help! As a sponsor of Holiday Express, Triangle on the Cheap has 8 tickets, and we are giving them all away to two lucky readers. Each winner will receive four tickets. Please note that children under one year old do not require a ticket.

In order to win 4 tickets, you must be a subscriber of the Triangle on the Cheap newsletter. We send out one email every morning with the information on all the free and cheap things to do in the Triangle (and occasionally giveaways like this.) If you’re not subscribing yet, you can subscribe now.

To enter the contest, just scroll down and leave a comment. Pretty soon you’ll have to scroll down a lot!

Make sure to leave the email address that you use to subscribe to the newsletter, because that’s how we will verify that you’ve subscribed. And make sure to be checking that email for a message from Triangle on the Cheap (check your spam folder too) because that’s how we’ll notify the winner!

    Oh what a wonderful Willy Wonka Golden ticket moment! I haven’t been to Pullen Park in ages. I didn’t know they had a Christmas themed event. The holidays are such heartbreaking experiences for me and I don’t get much enjoyment anymore but this opportunity could definitely give me joy.     My children and I would love to go! We tried so hard to get tickets that morning when they first became available, we were in line way before 9am. Everytime I went to click on the open time slot, it gave an error message so me and my children were sadly disappointed especially how many times we tried.
