Artists of all ages and skill levels are invited to Historic Oakwood Cemetery, 701 Oakwood Avenue, Raleigh, North Carolina, for Plein Air drawing and painting.
These sessions take place the first Thursday of the month, through December 4, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
It’s free to participate.
Led by program coordinator and artist Brianna McCormick, the group will meet at the office at 9 a.m. and walk together to the location for the day.
Bring water, a chair or blanket and your favorite art supplies. Be prepared to observe and discuss monumental art, cemetery flora and fauna, in addition to the panoramic vistas of the city of Raleigh.
