Paradox Opera is hosting a classical open mic night at Huron Stage, 2329 Huron Street, Durham, North Carolina, on December 16, 2025, at 6:30 p.m.
This is a free event. Doors are at 6:30 p.m. and the music starts at 7 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to perform, from amateurs to professionals, singers to clarinetists, and everyone in between!
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with free potluck food and beverage available for all. (Free beer and wine to those over 21, and free soda!)
Guests who wish to perform can reserve slots at this SignUpGenius link — if your piece is longer than 6 minutes, feel free to sign up for multiple slots.
A pianist provided to you at no cost. If you want to send her music in advance, please email it to paradoxopera@gmail.com — she will be eternally grateful! Of course, you’re also welcome to bring your own pianist, play yourself, or play something without piano!
In addition, the Madrigal Quintet will be offering a special mini preview performance.
