The Local Church is presenting the Second Annual Pancake-a-Palooza in honor of Shrove Tuesday, on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 5 p.m., at Cafe Root Cellar, 35 Suttles Road, Pittsboro, North Carolina.
This is a Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner with net proceeds supporting World Relief’s refugee resettlement work in the Triangle area.
Open to everyone, family-friendly. $10 for adults. Ages 12 and under: $5. There’s also a pay-what-you-can option. Purchase tickets here.
All net proceeds support World Relief and its vital work of refugee resettlement in the Triangle, helping families build new lives in our community. Right now, World Relief is mobilizing nationwide to protect refugee families facing new uncertainties, providing urgent legal services, emergency assistance, and support to help families stay together and rebuild their lives in safety.
Whether you celebrate Shrove Tuesday every year or just love a good excuse for pancakes, this night is for you. Bring your appetite, bring your people, and let’s flip some pancakes for a purpose!
