Sunrise Community Farm Center, 6407 Millhouse Road, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, is a community farm inclusive of all ages, abilities, backgrounds and interests.
Sunrise Community Farm Center hosts an Open Farm event every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. These take place all year, rain or shine. There are plenty of covered and weather proofed areas so that you can enjoy the visit regardless of weather.
Admission is $8 per person. You can buy tickets in advance or on site (reservations are not required.)
At Open Farm:
- Feed the chickens
- Cuddle a bunny
- Explore the garden
- Pick your own produce
- Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy outside under the covered pavilion
- And more!
Would you like to ride a horse or pony? If so, you do have to reserve your ride spot. If you’re reserving a ride, admission is $18. That includes general admission and the pony ride. Reserve here.
