Oaks and Spokes is holding a Learn to Ride event during which participants of any age can learn to ride a bike, using the balance bike method.
The event will take place Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 1 to 3 p.m., at Carolina Pines Community Center, 2305 Lake Wheeler Road, Raleigh, North Carolina.
This is a free event. More info. You can register, but walk-ups are also welcome.
Volunteers will assist learners in gaining a sense of balance and control on two wheels.
Bring your own bike or use one of the bikes that will be available to borrow.
Oaks and Spokes will provide extra helmets, which participants can keep.
