NC State’s College of Textiles is holding an open house on Saturday, October 13th, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at College of Textiles – Centennial Campus, 1020 Main Campus Drive, Raleigh.
It’s free and open to the public. Registration is not required.

There will be a full day of events and presentations designed to introduce you to the world of textiles.
Meet PyroMan, a fully instrumented, life-sized mannequin used to evaluate the thermal protection of clothing such as firefighter turnout gear.
Try on protective gear and tie-dye a t-shirt.
Check out our textile and fashion pieces created by students and speak with them about their inspiration and process.
This event is held in conjunction with NC State University Open House.
Parking is available all day on Centennial Campus in the surface parking lots around the College of Textiles, Oval West Parking Deck, or Poulton Deck.
